Tea+ Drinks: Review

Most people who know me know that I’m just a little bit obsessed with tea, I’m a typical Brit in that way. I also love health products, vitamins and supplements etc so have been a huge fan of tea+ since they started.

If you haven’t tried their teas already you really should. They’re colourful, delicious & good for your bod too. What’s not to love! And the guys at tea+ give a shit about the environment, so no nasty plastic in their bags. Perfect for other like-minded eco vegans who try to do their bit for the environment.

The lovely guys at tea+ sent me a lovely tea package. I went with the winter defence bundle as I love those flavours, the ingredients and it seemed perfect for this time of year.

“The winter defence bundle is packaged to help keep you in the best shape when those cold and dark days draw in. A combination of 1 months supply our best immune and wellness-boosting teas, each blended with 50% RDA vitamins B6, B12 and C, will help make sure you stay on your A game this winter.”

Tea+ immunitea

Ingredients: Green tea, natural flavourings, orange pieces, ginseng, vitamin C, cardamom, vitamin B complex ( biotin, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B1, folic acid, vitamin B12 ), spearmint & Echinacea.

Tea+ multea

Ingredients: Green tea, natural flavourings, apple pieces, vitamin C, cardamom, rosemary, vitamin B complex ( biotin, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B1, folic acid, vitamin B12 ) & spearmint..

Immunitea is my favourite flavour but I absolutely love this bundle for the ingredients (Green tea, Ginseng, Vit B & Echinacea being the big draws for me) and taste. Amazing! Gets 5 stars from me.

Tea+ are the only tea to deliver you all this in one super little teabag:

  • 50% RDA in 9 essential vitamins ( including B6, B12, folic acid and C)
  • Powerful functional herbs like Milk Thistle, Echinacea & Ginseng
  • Antioxidant-packed green tea
  • Natural fruit flavours

The teas smell so fruity and inviting, and that’s before you’ve even opened the box. Once you brew the tea the bright colours are infused straight away and look so comforting and happy. And they taste AMAZING! No dull bitter tea here. And no need for sweeteners either (but you can add them if you like, it’s a free country.)

I love them with breakfast and something sweet in the afternoon like a creative nature bar. They’re a great pick me up if like me you get afternoon slumps.

I’ve really noticed a difference in my overall energy and health from drinking these teas. I fully believe in natural remedies and reaching for things like this over cold medicine from the chemist. It’s much better for your body and it really helps. These teas are great for a little pick me up when you’re at work and need some help getting through the day, hangovers, colds/general illness and keeping you in tip-top health generally. A much cheaper and healthier alternative than hair of the dog or night nurse.

I’m a big fan of herbal teas, natural remedies and vitamins so a product like this really appeals to me. All in one products are great for busy lifestyles like mine too where I can drink tea all day when I’m at home writing or take it out and about with me.

It was great to meet the Tea+ gang at Vegan Life Live recently. They do various events and samples at Holland and Barrett stores etc so keep your eyes peeled on their social media to see where they’ll be next!

**Tea+ have rebranded since I posted this and have had a major dragon glow up. They’re now known as Tea+ Drinks (fka tplus) and have some new ingredients and packaging. But they still have the same amazing taste and vitamin goodness.**

I’m more of a classic breakfast tea fan over herbal and fruit flavours, but these sound so nice and it’s so great that there is no plastic!

LOVE that there’s no plastic in the bags, I only learnt recently that tea bags had plastic in them?! I was so tempted to buy some at Vegan Life Live, I’m so gutted that I didn’t now. Definitely will be on the lookout next time I go shopping.
