I recently tried Simply Cook as I was intrigued to see what it was like as I’ve tried Hello Fresh before. Hello Fresh boxes are great but when you always cook for one and don’t have a lot of money it can be expensive.. plus I don’t believe they do vegan boxes yet. I do love how the Simply Cook boxes fit through my letterbox so I never miss a delivery though!
The Independent named it one of its favourite recipe boxes.
So tonight I cooked Thai green curry, one of my favourite meals. I love that you can use any veggies/meats/pulses in this – You can just chuck in whatever you’ve got in the fridge. I used baby corn, mushrooms, asparagus & a green pepper making it easy to reach my 5 a day.
The recipe cards are really easy to follow and it’s nice having all the ingredients on hand for almost no prep. Which is great if you don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen or want something quick but still healthy.
20 minutes of easy cooking later…
The verdict
Easiness to follow 10/10
Taste test 10/10
Packaging 10/10
Price 10/10
