... OR LAZY! I’ve been taking a lot more time off social media recently (particularly Instagram) because honestly.. it stresses me out. 😓

Sometimes the pressure to be perfect, for everyone to love your content and it do well EVERY SINGLE TIME is crippling. 😖

We all place way too much pressure on ourselves, particularly creators. And it doesn’t help that it feels like unless you’re paying Instagram to show your posts that they just don’t get seen most of the time. 😞👎🏻

But I’ve found a way to just make peace with that and LET THAT SHIT GO. 😌☮️

Stress is such a horrible thing and it really affects me physically and makes me ill. It’s not good for anyone. 😥

So find space to take time away like once a week or limit your time on here. You’ll love how it makes you feel so free and you can just ignore all the bullshit and pressure for a little while. You won’t regret it. 💗

✨Recipe: Easy Vegan Mixed Bean Chilli 🌶 #eatbeansnotbeings

It’s that time of the month where I’m waiting for payday and using what’s left in the cupboards to make delicious and healthy suppers. I had this for dinner tonight & liked how this turned out with what I had on hand. 🍛🌱

Ingredients

1 x @knorruk tomato & chilli stockpot
2 x squares of good dark chocolate
1x tin of chopped tomatoes
1x tin of mixed bean salad
1x tin of kidney beans
1 Tbsp of olive oil
2 Tbsp of cumin
1 Tbsp of paprika
500ml of water
1 x onion

Method

1. Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat and fry the onions until softened.

2. Add the spices and stir - let the aromas release for a minute or 2.

3. Add your chopped tomatoes and stir.

4. Wash and rinse your beans then add to the pan and stir.

5. Add your stockpot and water then bring to the boil.

6. Lower the heat and let the chilli simmer for 15-20 minutes. *add more water if mixture is too thick or heat for longer if it’s too thin.

7. Stir the chilli then add a couple of squares of good dark chocolate. Let simmer for another few minutes.

8. Serve with rice and your favourite toppings. I suggest: fresh coriander, jalapenos, tortilla chips and soured cream (optional)

*It’s not spicy so if you like spice I suggest you add chilli powder or fresh chillis to get the spice to your liking 🌶🔥🔥🔥

- Chilli also great over fries, potato wedges or tortilla chips.
