I wouldn’t change any of it for the world and love helping people, particularly my friends (who are so kind & deserving). ⭐️

[ad - pr meal ]✨ @thevurgerco Brighton celebrated its 1st Birthday today with the release of a new innovative burger & tots! They kindly invited me down to their little fiesta celebration to try their new delights. 🎂🎈

Here’s what they are and my thoughts…

🍔 ‘Pork Crackling’ Vurger: Layered crackling paired with an umami crackling glaze! It neatly sits on top of a herby sausage style ‘pork’ patty with smoked Gouda vegan cheese, garlic aioli and smoky bacon BBQ sauce.

Very good toppings, not messy (which I hate when eating in public), the crackling is excellent, very authentic. Good use of colours to make it visually appealing, nice textures. This burger was nice but too rich in flavour for my taste so I couldn’t finish it. I think most people will love it however. Make sure you have a drink with it as I found it helped. Great burger, very innovative. I would expect nothing less of Gaz though. ⭐️ 7/10 - I don’t want to score too low because its good, the flavour was just too rich for my taste that’s all. And I hate to waste food so wouldn’t order it again.

I enjoyed these a lot and I think I preferred them of the two dishes. I’m a big fan of tots & the crackling is great. They paired well together for the ultimate side. I don’t drink beer but they have a pub kind of feel (probably because of pork scratchings) and I think they would go very well with a cold beer (alcohol free or otherwise). Would definitely order again! ⭐️ 9/10

Today has been so stressful but also amazing. Because my friends showed up for me when I was in dire need, no questions asked. And I really needed that. 🆘💗

I have never felt so much love & gratitude for my friends who are few but so special to me. I’ve been in a lot of tough situations and had many bad people in my life so having those few gems is truly a gift.💎

It is SOOOO important to be grateful and give thanks.🙏🏻💗

✨I’ve been wanting to try @thegreentrailer ever since they opened last year so couldn’t resist getting food from them while I was in Worthing yesterday. You guys know how much I love supporting a small, local vegan biz. 🌱

🍔 The burger was nice but didn’t blow me away. I think the patty that they make in house is nice and it had a really great bun which didn’t fall apart.

🍟 The fries smelt amazing and were perfectly crisp and hot. I wish I could taste the rosemary more but they were nice.

🍗 The wings were nice but cold so I had to microwave them. I believe they were cold from the can of drink I had because it was all packed together. But they had a very nice firm meaty texture and I would like to try them and maybe a chicken burger next time.

What’s between someone’s legs or if they’ve had surgery is NONE of your business. Don’t ask to see baby pictures or what they looked like “before” either. You’ll only insult and embarrass people by asking these questions, wait to be invited into that conversation.
