SJ Nails Review

The lovely Serena at SJ Nails made me a custom set of stick-on nails and asked me to review them. I am a little obsessed with pretty nails and how they make my short stubby fingers look. She made me a custom set using vegan polish and took ideas from photos I showed her.

Here’s the finished result:

Serena is super talented and lovely so it was a pleasure to review these for her. She takes into consideration your needs and what you want, she can even make them a custom size which fit you perfectly. I could’ve done with this as the thumb was a little big, but my hands are ridiculously small. Other than that the nails were beautiful and came with everything needed to apply them.

Serena first makes a mockup like this to send you where you can make any changes you like and to make sure you’re happy with them.

My amazing “pastel goth” set

Then if you’re happy with them she creates them and sends them out to you along with everything needed to apply them. S, M & L sets all come with sticky tabs, nail file, orange stick and instructions. And they’re all packaged beautifully and branded – I love little touches like this.

The whole process was a dream from start to finish and I love the nails she created for me. They were easy to apply and last longer with nail glue (Which I decided to use for longer wear). I highly recommend SJ Nails! And for only £8 a set why wouldn’t you!

  • Perfect for a night out/event
  • Cheaper than acrylics
  • Custom
  • Unique

    1. I know right! I’m excited to see who won. Believe the giveaway ended tonight. 💗

        1. Oh I’m sure she’ll do more. They’re only £8 a set inc postage I believe. So many people like them I may have to give some away 😊💗

          1. Definitely! No one I knew won sadly.. it was some shitty nail account that posts basically nothing apart from entries to giveaways. Which kinda sucks but hey ho..
She’s honestly fab and makes whatever you like. The mermaid set is super cute! X

  1. These look so cool. Ive only worn false nails once (a Disney fancy dress party. I was Cruella Deville) and they were so difficult to remove, even with the correct remover stuff. Ouch.

    1. Oh wow that’s so kl. Oh dear. These aren’t hard or harsh to remove at all. Nails should always be soaked properly so they can be removed easily otherwise very ouch indeed.

  2. What an amazing idea! Custom nails for nights out sound perfect. The design is great and I’m intrigued to see what else she can design! Definitely keep these in mind for a gift.

    1. I totally agree. She’s amazing! I love the fact that she really enjoys doing adventurous designs and is happy to try anything you want. Yeah they’re so nice for that as she packages them so nicely too. Thanks for reading hun 💗x

    1. I know right! She’s incredible! I know. I love that she’s so thorough and also really lovely to deal with. Hell yes! Totally my jam 😍🎃🖤x

    1. Aren’t they though! She can pretty much do any design. The mermaid set are really cute too 😍x

  3. These are so cute and sassy! Serena is an artist!!! I need to do better with my nails and it sounds like these make having nice nails simple😍❤️✌🏻

    1. That is like spot on how I feel with these on 🤣🙌🏻Isn’t she. She does incredible work and I’m happy to spread the word about her talent. I wish I had even an ounce of her creative skill. Definitely! Thanks for reading Dana 💗

  4. Beautiful nails… I love the idea of these as at work we’re not allowed to have anything, or long nails, but this would be a quick easy way to get my nails done for holidays 🙂 have taken part in the comp. How long does the glue last and are they easy to remove?

    1. Aren’t they just. Yes definitely! They’re a great idea for that reason. Maybe a day or two with the sticky tabs provided if they’re not too long. And with glue I would say maybe a week. Yeah really easy to remove. 💗x

  5. I love nails but don’t wear them at all. Ive only worn them once and I didn’t like the feel of them on my actual nails. I couldn’t pick anything up with them on. lol 🙂

    1. Yeah shorter ones make that easier but I love the look of longer ones. They take some getting used to if they’re longer so they’re great for an evening if you just want Pretty nails for an event or something.
      Thanks for reading 💗xx
