I first came across Shea Me at an event, I think it was the Viva Vegan Festival in Brighton. After trying and smelling all the scents I purchased the Rosemary Oil Shea Butter. I chose it as I love rosemary and have never seen it in skincare before so it intrigued me.
A little bit about Shea Me…
Shea-Me™ grew from a personal hobby which started over 5 years ago. Due to Suzette’s skin type, she often found it difficult to find products which hydrated and nourished her skin. A friend introduced her to natural Shea Butter.
She then started making her own creams which were in great demand by her friends/family. In 2015 she turned her hobby into a business and Shea-Me™ was officially born.

I am proud of my commitment to using ethically sourced and organic ingredients that are hand made into body butter. Shea-Me™ is proudly made with love.

Rosemary Shea Butter – 50g/£10.45

I loved the thick luxurious feel of this cream instantly! The beautiful butter and oils melt into your skin leaving them feeling soft and moisturised. You can tell that it’s very natural and with no nasties from the look and feel of it and how it works wonders on your skin.
I can suffer from very dry skin and eczema sometimes and it’s been a godsend whenever I’ve had a flare-up. It immediately soothed my skin and by the next day, my skin looked so much better. It really helps with itching, irritation and dryness.

Good for dry and irritated skin especially on the scalp, elbows and knuckles, reduce bags below the eyes, regrow thinning hair. Rosemary is soft, a rich, warm aroma that stimulates and invigorates the senses bringing renewed life, use for a relaxing lymphatic massage. Many people also claim that it can prevent baldness, slows greying, and can be used to treat dandruff and dry scalp.

Shea Ink Lemongrass – 10ml/£3.11

I love the idea of this product and it makes total sense that Shea Me products would be great on tattoos. I use this to keep my tattoos looking at their best and my skin moisturised. It helps look after the ink and keep the colours vibrant and doesn’t irritate the skin while it’s still healing.
Would be great in a bigger size like the butter, that is the only negative as such that I will say about this product (but I’m sure that will happen in the future).

The all-natural Shea Ink is exceptionally good at maintaining the cutest lips, perfect to protect your lips from the harshest weather. The delicious citrusy scent Shea Ink contains a potent blend of lemongrass oil and vitamin E, leaving the lips silky, healthy and scrumptious, while keeping chap lips at bay if use regularly.
My Thoughts
I absolutely love these products and think they’re definitely worth buying. If you see them at events you should give them a try and see how wonderful they are for yourself. Check out their website for more on them and the products and where to buy.
*I was gifted the shea lips & ink, this in no way biases my opinion of the brand. This is an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
