I love trying new Kombucha & alcohol free drinks, I’m a big fan of both. Real Kombucha makes a combination of kombucha combined with upscale alcohol free drinks so it really sets them apart from other brands. They use ultra high quality teas picked in Asia that make them really special and great food pairings.

I thought The Royal Flush kombucha would be great in an alcohol free bellini (instead of the usual prosecco). The complex and fruity flavours of the kombucha make them so lovely to enjoy alone or mixed into a mocktail.

Royal Flush Kombucha

Produced from fragrant Royal Flush Darjeeling and picked by hand as the first tips of tea emerge in spring. The Indian city of Darjeeling is known as Queen of the Hills so its First Flush is known as the Queen of Teas.

The tea alone develops notes of rhubarb, white peach and a touch of blackcurrant. The fruit and spice flavours round out the acids which make it soft and delicate.

The champagne sized bottles look and taste really special and have a nice subtle fizz. These really are some of the best kombuchas on the market and I would definitely buy these again.

Because Sober October and Christmas are around the corner I created this mocktail that can be whipped up in seconds and will be sure to impress.

You can add raspberries to this to give it more of a pinky shade but I wanted to keep this super simple so I skipped that part.

Royal Peach Bellini Mocktail

A delicious, easy, peachy mocktail


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of Real Kombucha Royal Flush 750ml
  • 1 tin of peaches with syrup
  • Fresh thyme sprigs

Instructions

  1. Chill the kombucha in the fridge overnight.
  2. Place the peaches including syrup in a blender and puree.
  3. Add 3 tbsp of peach puree to champagne flutes.
  4. Top with kombucha.
  5. Garnish with a spring of fresh thyme and enjoy! Optional: Add a peach slice to your glass.

Notes

  • Make sure everything is cold. Peach puree, kombucha & glasses.
  • Pour slowly.
  • Open your kombucha a few minutes before you pour.
