Roly’s Fudge kindly sent me their 2 new vegan fudge flavours. I was super excited as I have a huge sweet tooth and am going through a fudge phase at the moment.
Roly’s Fudge started in 1987 when the founders started to make homemade fudge in their farmhouse cottage kitchen. They decided to use natural ingredients when possible, and that it should be made with only traditional methods.
They followed an old family recipe passed down over generations to make the first batch of traditional vanilla clotted cream, using lashings of Devon butter. Find out more about Roly’s Fudge, or Find out more about Roly’s and how they make their fudge!
I expected a small sample of a few pieces of fudge so was delighted when they sent me a full packet of each new flavour. The packaging is clearly marked vegan & is fully accredited by The Vegan Society. (Which I love). It’s also GF (gluten-free) for those wondering.
I’m a huge fan of both pecans and cashews, (my favourite nuts) so I knew it would be hard to choose a favourite. The best part was trying and comparing them both.
Salted Maple & Pecan Fudge is based on our original award-winning Salted Maple & Pecan fudge recipe, containing finest Cornish sea salt, 100% maple syrup, and real crunchy pecans for a nutty and creamy taste.
The texture is crumbly and spot on. Just like traditional fudge its rich and buttery. I’ve found coconut oil a great vegan substitute for butter so it doesn’t surprise me that Roly’s have done the same. You can taste the coconut and it compliments the maple very well. I’m salivating at the thought of this sugary, delicious fudge again. It’s soooo tasty! And the packaging is also lovely making it a great gift.
This dairy-free vegan fudge contains cashew butter as well as the very best of organic soy milk and coconut oil. This means that our dairy-free fudge is crumbly and melt-in-the-mouth, like you would expect from our traditional Roly’s Fudge recipe.
If I had to pick a favourite I think it would be the cashew but both are heavenly! If you haven’t tried Roly’s fudge yet and you have a sweet tooth like me you should pop along to your nearest shop to sample some. (Now available in most Roly’s Fudge Pantries and online: www.rolysfudge.co.uk

Same as I was writing ha! Naww me too. I?m planning on doing some international ones maybe this month or next.
I am so dying to try these! I find fudge very sickly so a few at a time is required. The maple and cashew ones sound incredible!
Oh good I?m glad people are loving them as much as me! Yes they are very sugary and sweet and coconut oil is quite heavy.. it?s not something you can eat in great quantities. A piece or 2 gives you that sugar rush and satisfies the sweet cravings. I like that about it as you can make them last a bit longer.. which I find very hard to do with sweet stuff. ? Well I hope you?ll enter the competition and good luck! X
These look absolutely incredible I am a sucker for fudge!
Love, Amie ?
