My Spring/Summer Beauty Must Haves

As the weather is getting warmer we tend to change our skincare routines for more spf, lighter moisturisers and floral scents.

Here I show you products/brands I love & swear by this time of year.

Magical Tree - Flower Power Body Butter

Our bodies need moisture all year round and the sun & sea can make it dry and in need of some tlc. We tend to show more skin this time of year too so it's important that it looks its best. The uplifting fragrance is perfect for spring and the shea, cocoa & mango butters give you mega moisture as well as strengthening & protecting.

Maggie Anne Nail varnish - Phoebe

A seriously pretty and long wearing polish that's perfect for sunny days. They have several shades but this is my favourite colour that I own. Its nice to treat yourself to a mani pedi & when it's sandal season it's a must!

Dead Sea - Frankincense body scrub

Now it's time to show more skin you want it to look at its best. I love this scrub that gets rid of dry skin & moisturises with the frankincense oil. This is great if you're in a hurry and don't have time to moisturise as it leaves your skin supple & silky smooth.

Ben & Anna - Deodorant stick (lime)

I love these colourful deos by Ben & Anna. I have the lime and also the grapefruit. Not only do they look great but they work really well. I love the creamy texture that applies smoothly after a shower giving you a clean, dry feeling.

The Body Shop - face mist (coco calming)

Helps to soothe dry & sensitive skin. It leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed. Plus it's a great size to chuck in your bag ready for the beach. I love products like this as my skin doesn't cope with heat well & often needs some relief.

The body shop - banana hair mask

Because hair always needs some tlc. The sun & sea can be really drying on hair so it could definitely use this when you've spent a day at the beach. Great to take on holiday with you as you'll be drying out your hair more with sun, sea & swimming pools. Shiny, natural waves are the perfect no fuss look for selfies.

the body shop - lip juicers

My lips can get dry and sore when the weather gets warmer. The skin is very thin and sensitive, it's easy for it to get burnt. Lip juicers come in 5 mouthwatering flavour combos. Green is my fav colour and I love watermelon so the kiwi, kale & watermelon is my favourite. These are perfect to chuck in your bag as they're pocket sized. I love the cute packaging for easy application too.

the body shop - camomile cleansing butter

This product is one of my all time favourites and i use it all year round. It does the job really well and gets everything off quickly and easily. The butter feels like the ultimate pamper at the end of the day and its nice to wash away the grime of the day. Spf and makeup makes my skin feel so clogged and grimey in the summer and this removes it all with little effort - Great for lazy gals like me. Easy enough to chuck in your bag for travel and is great for muas too as you can change your face easily.

The body shop - grapeseed hair serum

Great for taming those flyaways and dry ends, also helps to smooth hair into an updo. A fab product that's great all year round and a must in anyones hair routine.

elf - stay out & play spf50

A great broad spectrum high spf which is sweat resistant and won't clog pores. A great base for makeup with a breathable formula. Everyone should wear spf all year round but especially in spring/summer and it should be a higher spf then. Make sure your face is always protected and enough. I have very fair skin & love this. The range is meant for those who are very active and exercise a lot as can withstand a lot.

Wunderbrow - Eyebrow gel (jet black)

My face gets so sweaty and gross when its hot. My eyebrows are very light to match my naturally blonde hair & also annoyingly thin now so I have to draw them on. This stuff stays put and I really need that with how much I touch my face and how hot I get. An absolute beauty staple for those wanting perfect, stay in place brows.

kAT vON d - lOCK IT BLOTTING POWdER (LIGHT)

I get a shiny face particularly in the t zone area so i always carry a powder compact. KVD products are not only beautiful but really longwearing. I don't like wearing a full face of makeup in spring/summer as it feels horrible and all day I just dream of taking my makeup off. Plus it doesnt stay looking flawless on me and I just melt and look gross. A bit of concealer and powder along with some spf has me ready for this warmer weather. You can get refills for this too which I love!

the body shop - cherry blossom eau de toilette

This delicate floral fragrance is fun & perfect for this time of year. Not only does it look beautiful and makes a great gift but it smells amazing. I've loved this fragrance and the perfumes from the body shop for years. My skin is pretty sensitive to many perfumes but never had a issue with body shop ones. Gorgeous, cf & vegan.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you check out the products!

Thank you so much for sharing all these vegan products! It makes me happy to see vegans around the world talking about veganism and animal rights. It gives me hope that more and more people are becoming aware of what really happens in the animal industry so they’re transitioning to a more compassionate lifestyle.

Anyway, I think I need a hair mask because it’s so hot here in my country so my hair is going dry. Thank you for your recommendations! 💚

Most don’t because my hair has been dark for most of my life. It’s a right pain and I just wish my hair was naturally dark like yours. So lucky! X

Thanks Dana! I have so many products that I love and plan on doing more things like this. 😊I love all the vegan products the body shop does. I’ve loved them for years and feels like they’ve only gone mainstream with their vegan stuff recently. Progress 🙌🏻🌿💚

Is the deodorant antiperspirant? I struggle to find something vegan that works as well as dove. Also I love a good calming face mist! I use Mario budesco lavender right now 😁

    • Siobhan Llinos Gale says:

I believe so. I sweat like a motherfucker and I’ve loved it so far. I’ve never really used creamy formulas much but I like the idea.. underarm skin is sensitive and needs too too. Oh yeah I’ve heard good things about Mario. These are new and that brand is also so huge.. all the bloggers and celebs use it. Must give it a go. I’ve been wanting to for ages.
