I’m a big fan of Mummy Meagz and have tried their original rocky road before so when they contacted me and wanted me to try the rest of their flavours my tummy was thrilled.
They’re the kind of vegan brand that I love, they make great products and are a small family business who care.
Their journey began in 2003 when founder Meagan Boyle (Mummy Meagz) and her daughter Willow, opened Blondes Coffee Shop in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
Meagan’s Rocky Road bars which were selling like hotcakes at Blondes so in 2017 made the leap to take her Rocky Roads to the masses, and so Mummy Meagz was born.

All four flavours of Mummy Meagz Rocky Road bars and the Chuckie Eggs launched into Holland & Barrett this year bringing her tasty treats to the masses.
Flavours:
- Original
- Orange
- Mint
- Sea Salt & Cinder Toffee
Without trying all the flavours the sea salt and cinder toffee appealed to me straight away and turned out to be my favourite. They are incredibly moreish! The mint was my least favourite but all of them are so delicious.
The flavours don’t taste artificial and they have the perfect mix of taste and texture in each bar. I love the slightly crunchy biscuit against the soft squishy mallows on top. They really are the perfect chocolate treat.

I’ve always loved rocky road but felt like fruit in it was crazy (as if you wanted it to seem healthy). I really like that these bars have NO fruit in them and are free from 13 of 14 major allergens.
The ingredients are pretty simple, nothing weird and wonderful in there, just delicious chocolate, biscuit and marshmallows. Yum!
Mummy Meagz secret recipe crunchy gluten free biscuit, & chewy vegan mallows coated in the finest Belgian chocolate.
They are the perfect indulgent vegan treat and it didn’t take me long to eat the box of 12 let me tell you. The bars are 55g each and retail at £1.49 a bar available at Holland & Barrett, Amazon & other retailers.

Thanks for reading!

I so wanted to be a huge fan but I didn’t enjoy it when I tried the Rocky Road bar. Such a shame as I live local (10minutes away) to the cafe and the local company I worked for at the time supported other local business and Mummy Meagz was 1.
I can even tell you what it was exactly but it felt heavy and sickly 😢
Oh thats such a shame! They are very chocolatey and I certainly couldn’t eat more than 1 or 2 at a time ha.
You lucky lucky thing! I first tried Mummy Meagz a few years ago at a vegan festival, maybe one in Bristol? I can’t remember… Anyway, I was amazed. They are one of my most favourite vegan chocolates. I’m not a fan of dark choc which most vegan chocs tend to be so theirs was perfect. Sadly I wasn’t a big fan of their cream egg, mainly because of the dark chocolate.
I’m yet to try the salted caramel one but I already know I’ll love it.

Yes it was a nice thing to receive. I think I first tried them at an event as well.. it was so long ago. Yes I must admit I didn’t think the egg was as nice as it could’ve been due to the chocolate but it was nice. Better in brownies or baked goods imo. It’s so good!
