I got hooked on Turmeric Lattes from Small Batch this year and always start my morning with one. First of all, I don’t live near one and it’s also not cost-effective, so I make my own. You can buy freshly ground coffee from small batch, then add the extra ingredients if you like small batches blend. I made a jar of turmeric paste so it’s quick and easy to make every morning by just adding a tsp to my cup of coffee or having it alone for golden milk. Comes in handy if you’re a total zombie in the mornings and need a quick pick me up.
A grim old day in Brighton? Then spice it up with our Turmeric latte! Made with @kokodairyfreecoconut milk & @_goldengrind_ blend of turmeric and spices, it’s a great caffeine-free hit of warmth on a drizzly Sunday. Turmeric is a spice that comes from the turmeric plant, it has a warm yet bitter taste. It’s often used to flavour or colour because it has a tendency to stain.
There are so many health benefits of Turmeric, this wonder plant can be used for everything! I love using it for cooking & skin care especially. It’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties from the chemical curcumin help combat diseases and even helps with pain relief.
Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties have been compared to (NSAIDS). Clinical trials have found it to be effective for relieving pain for those who suffer from arthritis.
It’s also an:
- Natural Painkiller
- Cancer Fighter
- Natural antiseptic
