In September 2020, Dominos launched their very first vegan pizzas in the UK (The Vegan Vegi Supreme and The Vegan Margherita) – but they didn’t want to stop there.
So for Veganuary this year they launched their brand new soya ‘chicken’ pizza and Vegan Nuggets. The new Domino’s vegan range is sure to rival its competitor’s offerings from papa johns and pizza hut.
Dominos pizza chefs knead and hand-stretch the vegan pizza dough until it’s light and airy, before spreading with a ladle of Domino’s own vine-ripened tomato sauce.
Next, the new vegan pizza is topped with vegan soya strips, onions, green & red peppers and ultra-melty vegan cheese.
Every Chick-Ain’t pizza is served with a Vegan Garlic and Herb Dip, so you can dunk those crusts to your heart’s content.

I would much rather order Dominos over papa johns as I like the dough and cheese much better, but that’s personal preference.
The cheese is papas has a really strong flavour and they put a lot of it on the pizzas. This cheese is applied with not such a heavy hand and its delicate flavour doesn’t take away from the other toppings.
The chicken on the new pizza is a little chewy but pretty authentic, I really enjoyed this pizza and thought all the flavours came together well. The dough is soft and fresh tasting just what you want in a pizza. And I love the garlic & herb dip.
The new Vegan Chick-Ain’t Pizza is £19.99 for a Large 13.5″

Crispy on the outside with southern-friend flavour breadcrumbs, the Dominos Vegan Nuggets are the perfect side. Each portion includes 7 soya-based Vegan Nuggets, as well as a free Garlic and Herb Dip.
At £6.99 for 7 they are pricey at £1 per nug but they’re really delicious none the less. The chicken is pretty realistic with a nice coating – I would put these nuggets in the my top 5, maybe top 3.

Aw, it’s great that the Domino’s in the UK have vegan options. Our Domino’s have yet to add vegan options to their menu. The nuggets look really yummy. Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for sharing xx

I know right! The nuggets were some of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks for reading! x
I love Domino’s veggie pizzas so I’m definitely going to have to try their vegan pizza at some point 🙂 xx
I don’t tend to order out much, but if I did, I would definitely give the Vegan pizza from Dominos a try as I love Dominoes, and this pizza looks really good. And I’m glad your review confirms it doesn’t just look good, but it also tastes good too.
Oh I wish I could say that I’m terrible and order out a lot ha. Yeah I like the dough there. Hope you’ll give some of the vegan options a try! 🙂 x
