Coconut Lane has collaborated with illustrator Sophie Rose Brampton and created a super cute phone case for World Mental Health Day. You can snag yourself one here – do good & get a cute case, it’s a win-win. *Don’t forget to use my code SIOBHAN20 to get yourself 20% off.
In support of Mental Health Awareness Day, they are donating £1 from every sale of Sophie’s case to the mental health charity Mind for the next week.
We wanted to work with Sophie as feminism, womanhood and mental health play such a big part in her designs and they are all things that our brand is passionate about and represents. Sophie has designed a Coconut Lane Phone Case to show support for anyone who might be struggling and to inspire them to take on the world.

I adore Sophie’s illustration style too and follow her account. Please support creatives and go check out her work @sophierosebrampton.
Coconut Lane caught up with Sophie and talked all things fempowerment, mental health and feminism.
How does mental health influence your designs?
A lot of my recent designs are quotes influenced by times when I’ve not been feeling myself and I’ve needed an outlet. Some of the quotes are words that would have helped me through my own dark times, so I know the power they can bring to someone else who may be struggling. I find it helpful to create things that help me to refocus and hopefully these help other people too.
What advice would you give to someone who might be struggling with their mental health?
You can’t have the good times without the bad – it’s these dark times and moments where we’re not feeling our best that allow us to feel fully happy and content in the good times. So please don’t be so hard on yourself and let yourself feel sad when you need to, your feelings are valid and shouldn’t be ignored. You can get through this. There are so many people who are there to help and listen to what you’re feeling, it really helps to speak to someone you trust.

Also, don’t miss Sophie’s takeover on Coconut Lane’s Instagram stories today to find out why Sophie designed this case and to get these super cute phone wallpapers (I already have the last 2 as my home and lock screens).

Mental Health is a huge part of my life and I’ve been on medication for over 10 years for my Mental Illness. I’ve survived suicide, I’ve lost loved ones to it and I fight like hell every day to keep going. Having a conversation about it and giving to charities like mind who do vital work is so important.
If you do one thing today:
- Buy one of these cases (£1 donated to mind from each sale).
- Donate to mind.
- Pick up the phone and talk to someone if you need to.
- Reach out to a friend in need.
- Join the conversation on social media.
- Cut yourself some slack.
- Look after yourself.
I love this case and will definitely be getting one for myself. Why don’t you take a look and maybe treat yourself too? You deserve it! *Don’t forget to use my code SIOBHAN20 and save yourself some money.
*This post does contain some affiliate links which you can use (or not) it’s totally up to you. These help me by giving me a little bit of commission from purchases and help me keep running my website. This in no way biases my opinion of these products. This is an honest article with recommendations of products I like and some I bought myself.
