Benecos is a brand I have loved for years, they create gorgeous cruelty free products at a reasonable price. They released some matte liquid lipsticks in autumnal shades and sent me some to try.
Castor bean oil and rich jojoba wax make these natural lipsticks moisturising and long wearing. The lightweight texture glides on smoothly, is easy to apply and provides even coverage. Available in 5 stunning shades.
They sent me shades: coral kiss, trust in rust and rosewood romance (a great dupe of kvd lolita).
In 2008 married couple, Silke and Stephan had a vision that they made into a reality. They had a simple goal of creating a natural cosmetic brand providing the best of glamorous conventional cosmetics with certified, resource-conserving organic ingredients. benecos was born! bene meaning “good” in Latin and cos for “cosmetics” the brand literally means good cosmetics.

There are a few things people probably look for in a lipstick, for me it’s important that they’re vegan, not too expensive, a nice shade & long lasting.
Benecos ticks some extra boxes with these lipsticks like nice packaging, they’re natural, organic and are nice & compact.
We all know how important it is to look after the planet. Reducing the use of plastic is at the forefront of most of our minds. Here at benecos we are doing our part for the planet too. At the start of 2019 we introduced our new it-Pieces make-up pallets which are re-usable pallets with fully recyclable infills. The pallet has an innovative push-in system which omits the need for magnets and each of the plastic-free it-Pieces refills is packed solely in paper.
Colours
The shades are stunning and are very highly pigmented without the use of carmine or any other unnecessary animal products. The shades are indicative of Autumn and are those warm orange and brown leafy tones. Amongst the bolder shades of berry and rust are more muted tones of nude for those who like a more subtle lip.

At benecos we feel ingredients such as mineral oils, paraffins and silicones do not benefit the skin that is why we only use natural and organic ingredients. We carefully select ingredients that will only care and nurture your skin.
Long Lasting & Hard Wearing
The lipsticks stay on very well and leaves a stain on your lips so that when the surface colour rubs off while eating/drinking the colour can still be seen. It comes off with makeup remover and water of course but not when you don’t want it to. It stands up well with daily wear and there isn’t a need to reapply all day.

Texture
The texture is smooth and moisturising, not drying like some liquid lipsticks. The colour glides on seamlessly with the applicator wand which makes easy work of applying the lipstick.
Overall Thoughts
I really like these lipsticks and would highly recommend them. The shades are gorgeous and they last so well for the price tag. Cruelty free, natural & organic beauty is accessible to all and benecos is a great example of that.
